Fall Fancies - It's Not Your Time!
What do you think about this? It is November 7 in upstate New York. Fall, thanks to Hurricane Sandy, had taken a cold, dreary turn earlier this week. I took some pictures on Saturday (November 3) and to my surprise this is what I saw.in the Wegmans Johnson City, New York parking lot:
A blooming cherry tree!

Not exactly what you expect on a dreary fall day.
Meanwhile, a few miles away in Vestal, I saw this:
A forsythia.
This was back on 10-20, but this is not a reblooming iris.
